1. Introduction

Music Studios in Florida (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Meinero, LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our directory and booking-request service for recording, mixing, mastering, rehearsal, and production studios in Florida.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Account information (name, email, phone number).
Studio listing information and details.
Quote-request information (project details, budget, timeline, location).
Reviews, ratings, and communication preferences.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Usage data and analytics.
Device and browser information.
IP address and approximate location. We derive an approximate country from your IP. Before that lookup leaves our systems the address is truncated to its network, so the country is resolved from a range of addresses rather than from yours. Full IP addresses are deleted automatically after 30 days.

To provide and maintain the Service.
To pass your booking request to the studio you chose to contact.
To display and promote studio listings.
To communicate with you about the Service.
To ensure platform security and prevent fraud.
To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Booking-request sharing

When you submit a booking request from a studio’s listing page, we send it to that one studio and to nobody else. The studio receives your name and contact details, your project description, and your budget range and timeline if you provide them. We do not share your request with any other studio, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to any third party. Sending it to the studio you chose is the entire purpose of the form, and submitting the form is your consent to that.

Until 1 September 2026 this site also ran a quote-request service that shared a visitor’s contact details with up to three studios in their area. That service has been retired. It never delivered a request to any studio, so no visitor’s details were ever shared under it.

4.2 Other sharing

We may also share information with:

Legal authorities when required by law.
Service providers who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations, for example Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting/security), Stripe (payments), a country lookup service that receives only a truncated network and never your full address, and our email provider.
Analytics provider: Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and group a visit into a session. We do not enable Google Signals, so your activity here is not joined to your Google account or used to build an advertising profile. See our Cookie Policy for the cookie names and lifetimes.
Cookieless analytics: Ahrefs Web Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and our own first-party measurement. None of these sets a cookie on your device, and none of them builds a profile of you across other sites.
Audience measurement: Grow by Mediavine. Unlike the tools above, Grow does store information on your device and does recognize you across other websites that use it. See section 4.3.

4.3 Sale or sharing of personal information

We use Grow by Mediavine to measure how this site is used. Mediavine does not act purely on our instructions; under its own terms we are a “business” and Mediavine is a “third party.” Under California and several other state privacy laws, that arrangement counts as a sale or share of personal information even though no money is paid to us for it. The categories involved are identifiers (including IP address and device and advertising identifiers), internet activity, your approximate location, and inferences drawn from them.

You can turn this off. Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Opting out stops the Grow script from loading for you at all, so nothing is collected in the first place. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically, with no setting needed.

Outside of that: we do not sell, rent, or trade your booking requests, newsletter signups, reviews, or account details. Those go where section 4.1 says they go and nowhere else.

5. Studio Outreach

Studios compiled from publicly available sources may receive outreach from us by email — for example, notifying them of a customer request in their area, or inviting them to claim their listing. Every such message includes our physical mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe. We honor opt-outs promptly and keep a suppression list.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of its use for targeted advertising. Exercise it at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser experience for exercising any of these rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described here. Some information may be retained where required for legal or legitimate business purposes.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We will delete such information if we become aware of it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
