This page explains who runs this directory, how studios get listed, what each label on a listing means, and where we have a business relationship with a studio we show you.

1. Who operates this site

Music Studios in Florida is an independent directory operated by Meinero, LLC. It is not affiliated with Google, and inclusion here does not imply that a studio endorses us.

2. How studios get listed

Listings are compiled from public business information, primarily Google Business Profiles. Studios do not apply and are not charged to appear. A studio owner can claim a listing for free to correct it and add their own detail.

Ratings and review counts come from Google. We do not collect, write, edit or moderate reviews, and we cannot change a studio's rating.

Paid placement moves a listing to the top of a page and is labeled Featured. Everything else on this site is here without paying.

3. What the labels mean

Four labels can appear on a listing. Each one means a different thing.

Editor's Pick

A studio we chose to highlight, based on our own judgement of its history, work or standing. Editor's Picks are not paid placements. No money changes hands and a studio cannot buy one.

Featured

A paid promotional placement. A studio pays a monthly fee to be pinned to the top of its city page or the homepage. If you see Featured, that studio paid for the position.

Sponsored

Paid advertising, sold separately from listings. Any advertisement on this site is labeled Sponsored.

Agency client

A studio that is a client of a business operated by this directory's owner. We mark these so you can weigh what you read here knowing the relationship exists. It is a commercial relationship: the owner of this directory does not own or operate these studios. Marking a listing Agency client does not mean the studio paid for placement, and it is shown whether or not the studio has any paid placement.

4. Why we disclose the agency relationship

A reader would not assume that a directory has a business relationship with a studio it recommends. That connection could reasonably affect how much weight you give the recommendation, so we state it rather than leave you to discover it. The disclosure is not a statement that the studio was chosen for that reason. It exists so you can judge for yourself.

5. Links to studio websites

Links from a listing out to a studio's own website carry a nofollow attribute. We do not sell links and we do not pass search authority to any listing, paid or unpaid.

6. Corrections and claiming a listing

Anyone can report a problem. If something here looks wrong or outdated, tell us through the contact form or the request a correction link on the listing. We check reports against our sources and decide what to change. Reporting is not the same as editing: a report asks us to look, it does not change the listing by itself.

Only a verified owner can edit or remove a listing. Claiming is free. Once we have confirmed you represent the studio you can correct the details, add your own description and photos, or ask to be removed from the directory entirely. We verify before acting on any request to change or take down a listing, so nobody can alter or remove a business they do not represent.
