Ricky's Drum Dojo is based in Orange City, Florida and operated by Ricardo Meléndez, a Modern Drummer Magazine-featured drummer, instructor, producer, and songwriter from San Juan, Puerto Rico. With over 36 years of drumming experience, Meléndez has worked as a session and freelance drummer in the Orlando area while maintaining a private teaching practice. He previously performed and recorded with Fallen Wisdom, signed to Century Media, and Dearestazazel, whose debut album *Be Mine* was released through One Eleven Records in 2008. Meléndez combines his extensive touring and recording background with instruction and production services at the Drum Dojo.
